The purpose of this activity is to give each child an opportunity to present his/her favorite toy or book or talk about a special avent or memory in front of the group in a safe space. This can still be intimidating at first, but it gets better with practice. Teaching debate and public speaking to our young students is a great way to build their confidence in communication. It helps children learn how to think critically, analyze arguments, and develop persuasive skills that can be used in many aspects of life.
